YI-HSUAN MA（Ant Ma）
New York & DC based Taiwanese, a scenic and production queer designer. A proud member of Local USA829, IASTE.
With a visual art practice that encompasses interdisciplinary approaches to scenic design informed by historical contexts, abstraction, and literature, Ant has designed extensively across Taiwan and the United States. Coming from the background of literature training, she is always interested in exploring the environment that involves the audience's participation immersively in storytelling. Her design is poetic, political and inclusive.
Her theatrical installation artwork "Samuel" has been nominated as NOTABLE EFFECTS SHOW in the 2021
